Each year, a select new group of business and community leaders from across the Green Country saddle up to become our event hosts, “Cattle Barons”. Each Baron helps with the event planning, alongside our many volunteers, and underwriting by committing to raise at least $10,000 for the Cattle Barons’ Ball.
Several Alumni Barons unselfishly return each year, as well, to show their support and enthusiasm for the Cattle Baron’s Ball. The Barons and Alumni Barons have the opportunity to meet four times during the year to create this event to be fun, unique and meaningful for all participants. By doing so, these prestigious leaders will be assisting the American Cancer Society in its mission to eliminate cancer and to assist all local patients in finding access to the care they need to be victorious over this disease.
